Edi Szathmary and Joshua Thimons October 11, 2003 New York, New York
SAVE-THE-DATE The wedding took place in New York and was considered a "destination wedding" for most guests. The card began to tell the story of their romance with photos: their first date, where they got engaged and where the wedding was to take place.
INVITATION The New York theme was carried over to the invitation. Different areas of the skyline were used on the reception and RSVP cards. Silver metallic ink was used to simulate the skyline's shimmer and also matched the reception site.
REHEARSAL DINNER INVITATION Some guests received an invitation to the rehearsal dinner. It took place the night before the wedding overlooking the Statue of Liberty. The photo included in the invite helped to give guests a sense of where they would be dining.
WELCOME BAG Bride Paper worked with Edi and Josh to find items that were truly New York. This welcome letter was also enclosed to help guests navigate the city.
MENU AND TABLE NUMBERS The menu repeated the skyline and silver color. The linens on the tables matched. Tables were named after guest's street addresses and followed the same color scheme.
SENTIMENT CARDS AND NAPKINS Sentiment cards had part of the New York skyline and the names of the bride and groom. Guests wrote good wishes for the couple on the cards provided, then placed them in the envelopes. Napkins were designed with the couple's names.
